President Muhammadu Buhari Resumes Office
President Muhammadu Buhari has announced his resumption to work following his 5-day official vacation to London.
According to a statement released to this effect on Thursday by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), President Buhari dispatched a notice to the leaders of the National Assembly.
“In compliance with Section 145 (1) of the Nigerian Constitution, President Buhari has dispatched a formal notice of his resumption of duty with effect from Thursday, February 11, 2016, to the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.”
President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday returned to Nigeria, after being on vacation from February 5 to February 10, 2016.
