Peekay and Blaq shared their protest experiences in Jos, the Plateau state capital, and how it has shaped their perception of demonstrations nationwide.
Sly and Ruffee, alongside other members of the panel, delved into how Northern governors used religion and ethnicity to frustrate protests in their region, and also the insensitivity of President Muhammadu Buhari.
No wonder Chimamanda Adichie said, “There is the sense that Nigeria could very well burn to the ground while the president remains malevolently aloof. The president has often telegraphed a contemptuous self-righteousness, as though engaging fully with Nigerian is beneath him.”
