Buhari hits Aisha with you belong to my kitchen and my other room (Watch)

President Muhammadu Buhari has responded to his wife, Aisha Buhari, following the viral BBC interview where she questioned his hold on power.

President Buhari  was pictured standing next to the German Chancellor Angela Merkel when he said “I don’t know which party my wife belongs to, but she belongs to my kitchen, my living room and my other room,”.

Mrs Buhari called out her husband when she said, “The president does not know 45 out of 50 of the people he appointed and I don’t know them either, despite being his wife of 27 years.”

“I have decided as his wife that if things continue like this up to 2019, I will not go out and campaign again and ask any woman to vote like I did before. I will never do it again” she stated.

But President Buhari wants his wife to know she can’t influence the outcome of the elections if he intends to run again; he wants the world to know where she belongs in the scheme of things.

“So I claim superior knowledge over her and the rest of the opposition, because in the end I have succeeded,” said Buhari who contested three times before winning in 2015. “It’s not easy to satisfy the whole Nigerian opposition parties or to participate in the government.”
