Buhari First Official Meeting with Saraki, Dogara and National Assembly Leaders

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday, hosted Principal members of the 8th National Assembly including the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara, Speaker of the House of Representatives,  to a first official meeting.

The meeting held late at night at the First Lady’s conference room in the Presidential Villa and had in attendance the  Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari and the principal leaders of the Executive and Legislative arms of government.

While details of what was discussed at the meeting remains unknown, it is believed to have centered on the 2015 supplementary budget and the ministerial nominees of the President.
