Buhari Appoints Bashir Ahmad as Assistant on New Media

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Bashir Ahmad who goes by the Twitter handle @BashirAhmaad as his personal assistant on new media.

Though no official announcement has been made on his appointment, Bashir Ahmad confirmed the appointment by his Twitter account.

“Pleased to announce that I have been appointed by President Muhammadu @MBuhari as his Personal Assistant on New Media,” he wrote.

Bashir Ahmad, who was actively involved in the campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the buildup to the election, served as a member of the Buhari Support Organization (BSO).
