President Muhammadu Buhari Vacations as Osinbajo Takes Over
President Muhammadu Buhari will today embark on a 5 day vacation from Friday, February 5, which is billed to end on Wednesday, February 10.
According to information being disseminated by the Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media & Publicity), Garba Shehu, through his Twitter page
While the president is on vacation, Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo will step in his shoes and perform the functions of the president.
Shehu revealed that: ”In compliance with Section 145 (1) of the Nigerian Constitution, President Buhari has dispatched a formal notice of his vacation to the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.”
