Tinubu Issues out Stern Warning to PDP Members

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, has asked the Peoples Democratic Party who are the main Opposition Party to keep its mouth shut if it has nothing meaningful to say.

He stated this while speaking with State House correspondents after visiting President Muhammadu Buhari, along with Bisi Akande at the Presidential Villa, Abuja yeterday, Wednesday.

The former Lagos State governor also refuted the report in some quarters that himself, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former interim National Chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande, were battling over who would emerge as the chairman of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT).

He insisted that the party was focused on supporting President Buhari to achieve his goal of transforming the nation.

He said, “Don’t listen to rumours, there is no struggle. Our party is not even looking at the direction of power struggle or anything of such.

His visit is coming barely 24 hours after former president, Olusegun Obasanjo also visited the Presidential Villa.
