The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria,PENGASSAN, has ordered its members to abandon their duty posts in all oil installations and offices throughout Nigeria as from Thursday. This thus indicates that fuel scarcity may surface again despite the N145 per litre pump price

PENGASSAN also ordered its four zones, which include Lagos zone, Port Harcourt, Warri and Kaduna zones to commence sensitization of its members with details of the planned strike action.

PENGASSAN cited the inability of the Federal Government to honour agreements reached with it as the reason for calling for the strike.
