Nigeria's Super Eagles Arrive Zambia
Nigeria’s Super Eagles players arrival to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Monday almost led to a tragedy as a Police officer discharged his weapon.

Vanguard reports that two plain cloth policemen tried to arrest Shehu Dikko, the Chairman of the League Management Committee, as players and officials filed out of the arrival hall.

The policemen had stated the Abuja police commissioner wanted to see Dikko but reportedly had no arrest warrant as one of the policemen reportedly fired into the air, as the players and officials scampered for safety.

The policemen insisted on arresting the LMC boss, even as officials and fans wanted to see a warrant before the arrest could be allowed.

A Federal High Court in Jos had declared Dikko wanted after he failed to suspend the league and reinstate Giwa FC, following an order by the court.
