Police Arrest Chinese Woman for burning Lagos Hotel

The Police in Lagos has arrested a Chinese woman, Zhen Zhen for allegedly setting on fire a Lagos-based hotel, and destroying properties worth about N24 Million.

According to PM News, the fire incident happened on the night of July 5. Zhen lodged with her boyfriend Jian Feng at Ernest Hotel which is located at 28, Bamishile Street, off Allen avenue in Ikeja, Lagos.

She was reportedly using illicit substances in her room which ticked off the flame, razing down the business facility.

Confirming the incident yesterday, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, said: “The suspect allegedly set ablaze some parts of Ernest hotel while using hard substances in her room.’’

Badmos also added that the property is valued at about N24 million. However, she did not confirm if the Chinese citizen will be charged to court.
