(Photo) Mike Adenuga Bags Ghana’s Highest National Honour

The President of Ghana, John Mahama has conferred with the highest national honour of Ghana on Mike Adenuga.

Forbes reports that the Nigerian billionaire received the award of ‘Companion Of The Star of Ghana’, at a ceremony held on Saturday in Accra. Mike Adenuga Jnr was honoured by John Mahama in recognition of the contributions the Globacom CEO has made in the country.

Acccording to Forbes, Mike Adenuga has assets worth over $8 billion in Ghana and this was confirmed by President Mahama during his citation at the ceremony yesterday.

“Throughout Africa, you are acclaimed as one of the most astute and successful entrepreneurs and investors, controlling one of the continent’s largest business empires, comprising oil and gas, telecommunications, aviation, banking and real estate,” President John Mahama said.

Ovation Magazine publisher Dele Momodu also joined in celebrating this feat as he took to his Instagram to share the news.
