PDP Distances Party From Nanzing Dogo’s Vituperation

Plateau State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has distanced itself from the vituperation of one of its members, Nanzing Dogo, against the Labour Party, LP, governorship candidate, Dr. Patrick Dakum.
In the write-up which went viral on social media projecting Dakum in bad light of things that are false and misinterpreted, the Campaign Director General of Mutfwang/Piyo, Hon. Letep Dabang, expressed deep concern and sadness over the development considering the harmonious working relationship between their Governorship candidate, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, and Dakum who have lived for decades as brothers, and called the general public to disregard the write-up as Dogo does not mean well for their party.
Speaking to THE BEACON on phone over the matter, Letep said the PDP is out to rescue Plateau and not to ignite fire amidst friends. And that their campaign is issue based and not calumny. Calumny he went on, is not their culture and is strange, hence he is calling all the people to see the write-up as a means of demeaning the PDP and putting it in bad light and should therefore be disregarded as it is only the intention of Dogo and not their party.
It would be recalled that on the day that Dakum paid a condolence visit to Mutfwang over the demise of his mother, the PDP governorship candidate said they are brothers with Dakum as they had and are having a smooth relationship for decades, and would not want politics to destroy that.
Mutfwang’s younger brother is Dakum’s Personal secretary at Institute of Human Virology Nigeria, Abuja, and Dakum also was the Best Man at the wedding of Mutfwang’s elder brother and cousin.
