Again Mutfwang Challenges Governor Lalong to provide evidence of his allegation or face Legal Action

The Gubernatorial Candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State Barrister Caleb Mutfwang has again called on Governor Simon Lalong to produce the documents he claimed to be in possession of which contains evidence of the allegations he made during the APC Campaign Rally in Wase, against Mutfwang that while he was local government Chairman, he had owed workers 10 months salaries.

Mutfwang made this known during a town hall meeting with the leadership of various non-partisan groups and unions to market the candidates of the PDP from the Presidential Candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar down the State Assembly Candidates.

During the town hall meeting held at the NUT hall, Bungha in Mangu LGA, Mutfwang asked the leadership of the NUT and NULGE in Mangu who were present at the town hall meeting if truly he owed them salaries for ten Months as claimed by Governor Simon Lalong, they responded with a loud “No” response.

Mutfwang them went further to challenge Governor Simon Lalong to produce those documents he claimed to have or meet him in Court.

Mutfwang used the opportunity to assure the leadership of local government staff and teachers that he will concentrate on their welfare and also implement the elongation of service bill for teachers from 60 to 65 years, from 35 to 40 years. He promised to send them for training and retraining.

During the town hall, various groups raised questions and were responded satisfactorily to by Barrister Caleb Mutfwang and his Campaign Council.

Barrister Caleb Mutfwang was earlier received amidst thunderous applause on arrival in Mangun, Mangu LGA where he had held a similar town hall meeting as part of the conclusion of series of town hall meetings which he has held successfully across 16 of the 17 LGAs of the State.

Mutfwang led his campaign team to the Palace of the District Head of Mangun, where they were received by the Madakin Mamgun on behalf of the District Head who was unavoidably absent to condole with the people over the recent destruction of the property by thunder storm, he donated N1 Million to those affected on behalf of the PDP. Before proceeding to meet with the people in a town hall meeting to discuss with them on their expectations of a Mutfwang administration and also to sell his plans and aspirations in govern Plateau State.

The visit to Mangu was climaxed by the reception of the entire structure of the YPP in Mangu LGA who defected to the PDP. The defectors were received by the State Chairman of the PDP Hon Chris Adukuchili Hassan and the DG Atiku-Mutfwang Campaign Council Hon Letep Dabang.
