Nigeria Vs SwazilandThe Super Eagles of Nigeria redeemed their image as they have now progressed to the 3rd round of the qualifying stages of the FIFA 2018 World cup qualifiers by beating Swaziland.

The Nigeria Vs Swaziland game was played at the oil rich city of Port-Harcourt in front of a very bubbly Nigerian crowd cheering. Not winning today’s game was not an option and we at least glad they lived up to expectations.

The Sunday Oliseh tutored side beat the South African under dogs by 2 – 0 to ease through to the next round of the hectic qualifiers.

Moses Simon got the first goal of the game came at about 30 minutes from time as he curled in a beautiful free kick to see that the Super Eagles had an edge over their friends from Southern Africa.

Efe Ambrose doubled the lead in the dying minutes of the second half to squash all hopes of Swaziland equalizing the game and dragging it to extra time.

Nigeria will now play another series of 2 legged games before qualifying to be drawn in the group stages of the FIFA 2018 World Cup Qualifiers. As tasking as that may sound, we expect the Super Eagles to cruise all the way at least to the group stages of the qualifiers.
