Jose Mourinho’s Son signs for Fulham

Jose Mourinho’s son is said to have put pen to paper with English side Fulham.

Jose Mourinho Jr, who has just accomplished something his famous father never could: land a playing deal with a professional club.

According to the BBC,16 year old Mourinho Jr, 16 has put pen to paper on a two-year scholarship deal with English football club, Fulham.

Mourinho Jr, who plays as a goalkeeper, has already featured for the youth sides of Chelsea and Real Madrid, teams managed by his father.

“Thank you to everyone who supported me, I’ll make you proud,” he said on Instagram, while pictured signing his contract alongside his mother Matilde.

The Championship side Fulham will begin their campaign against Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle on Friday 5 August at Craven Cottage.
