An Israeli Expatriate who work with Construction giant Gilmor was on Wednesday killed by suspected armed robbery gang and kidnappers at Wasa in Apo Mechanic village after he resisted his abduction.

The Armed Robbery and kidnappers syndicates were said to have been terrorizing the residents of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Estate, along Airport Road in Abuja in the last 4 months.

According to DAILY POST, the Israeli Expatriate while trying to resist abduction, was shot by the gang and this attracted the police.

The police on arrival at the scene started a shooting spree with the kidnappers, leaving two dead while the other members of the gang bolted before they could be apprehended. The Apo Police Division is, however, on the trail of the kidnappers.

Eyewitnesses said the Israeli, a staff of Gilmor Construction Company, was allegedly on his way to the construction site at about 8:30 p.m when four young men suddenly forced his car to a stop, dragged him out and attempted to force him into their Toyota salon car. He was however shot while attempting to escape from his alleged abductors.
