Election Tribunal Nullifies PDP Win in Taraba State

The Senatorial election tribunal in Jalingo, Taraba state, has nullified the election of a Peoples Democratic Party senator, Bashir Marafa, who represents Taraba Central Senatorial district.

The ruling was passed on today at the resumption of hearings at the tribunal.

The Election tribunal ordered that the candidate of the All progressives Congress, Yusuf A Yusuf, should be given the Certificate of Return as the lawful winner of the April 2015 election.
