El-Rufai’s Message to Critics Climb Kufena mountain, Fall and Die

Malam Nasir El-Rufai, the Governor of Kaduna State Governor was not his usual cool demeanor yesterday Saturday, when his political appointments were criticised for being lopsided during the course of an event in Kaduna.

The event was the 4th town hall meeting with Kaduna Central, where stakeholders got to ask him question on the running of his government.

El-Rufai said he could not appoint those who voted against him during the last governorship election while responding to questions about his recent appointments.

He said: “If you are not happy with appointments made, you can go and climb Kufena mountain, fall and die.

“It was what you voted that you got, because we are aware that there are people who did not vote for us, in fact they worked against us.

“But now they claim to be APC members and loyal to the party. We know such people. And so there is no way they would expect anything from us.”
