Davido is Back with Asa Asika after 4 Years

You know what they say about first love right? Davido, Nigerian Afropop singer, has reunited with Asa Asika, his first manager.

The singer David Adeleke had previously announced that he “would manage himself” in 2017, announced Asa Asika’s return on Twitter.

The deal that brought back Asa as Davido’s new manager was signed and sealed yesterday, January 30, 2017, as the OBO’s Hypeman Special took to his Snapchat to share pictures and videos while Davido tweeted, welcoming Asa back to the team.

Asika who managed Davido from his inception as a professional recording artiste, was sacked in December 2012 over “financial misappropriations.”

Kamal Ajiboye assumed responsibility as Davido’s manager in January 2013 until December 2016 when the pair fell out.

Ajiboye’s Twenty20 Media manages the careers of Lola Rae, Emmey, DJ Neptune, Chidinma, Shizzi, Spellz, and Parker Ighile.
