Burna Boy Shares First Video in the UK as his 15-Year Ban gets Lifted

Nigerian Reggae/Dancehall act Burna Boy has finally landed in the UK after his 15-year-ban was lifted recently and the Don Gorgon crooner couldn’t be more excited.

24-year-old singer of Don Gorgon crooner shared a video on his Twitter page yesterday night, proving he was really in the UK and putting his haters to shame.

The video, which was originally captured by Cokobar, had the caption: “@Burna Boy is here ! All those that wished us bad! All the negative energy God bless you. God made it happen”

The Soke who will be performing in London and Manchester next week is making his first appearance in the UK in five years.

In 2010 the singer was arrested by the police for allegedly being part of a gang and stabbing someone to death. He was tried as a minor and sent to jail. After 11 months, he was released and given two months parole plus community service on the grounds of ‘good behaviour’. But he reportedly disobeyed authorities and travelled back to Nigeria where he signed a record deal with Aristocrat Records.

Burna Boy later travelled back to the UK but was arrested at the airport, deported to Nigeria and barred from the UK for 15 years’s first appearance in the UK in five years.
