EFCC Arrests AVM Amosu in Lagos

avm amosuThe Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested the former Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Adesola Amosu.

Amosu is being detained by the EFCC over allegations of massive fraud in the procurement of arms during his tenure as Chief of Air Staff.

Sahara Reporters Amosu is being investigated for authorizing the purchase of two helicopters without functional rotors, among other allegations.

EFCC investigators have reportedly traced nine luxury homes to Amosu, one of which is in the Government Reservation Area (GRA) of Ikeja in Lagos State, which is estimated to be more than N350 million.
