In Zinedine Zidane’s first match as the Head Coach of Spanish giants Real Madrid, Real Madrid welcomed Deportivo La Coruna to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and the Los Blancos legend’s tenure got off to the perfect start when Karim Benzema flicked Sergio Ramos’ miscued shot into the net after just 15 minutes in a game that ended with hosts scoring 5 unreplied times.

Seven minutes later, and it was 2-0, with Gareth Bale nodding home Dani Carvajal’s right-wing cross.

Bale added another shortly after half-time, finishing well from Cristiano Ronaldo’s low cross.

And Bale completed his hat-trick after 63 minutes, powering home another header from Toni Kroos’ corner.

Benzema then added further shine to the scoreline with a thundering finish off the crossbar.
