50 Cent trolls Diddy as Rapper Retires from Music
Rapper and Entrepreneur Diddy in a new interview with Cigar Aficionado Magazine revealed that he is set to put out his last album ‘No Way Out 2’, after which he will bow out of the music industry and focus on a career in acting but his felloe rapper is having none of that.
“I’m going to put out my last album and devote 100 percent of my time to doing films. I want to stop at a great place,” the Bad Boy Records CEO said.
“When I’m gone, only the songs will survive,” Diddy continued, adding, “I know I’m making music that will live on. I don’t go into the studio just to be hot or to hear myself on the radio. Michael Jackson, Tupac, Biggie – part of them lives on in their music, even though they’re not here anymore. That’s really deep, man. The only thing like that is religion.”
This announcement has stunned hip hop fans who have followed the rapper career, and especially those waiting for his epic Bad Boy Family Reunion concerts which will begin on May 20, the late B.I.G.’s birthday. But the Ciroc mogul has eyes set elsewhere.
“I want to take a victory lap, to do a world tour and really enjoy it one last time,” he said.
While many people are reacting to this story, saying how much Diddy will be missed, his nemesis 50 Cent couldn’t help but take yet another jab.
“Wait, I thought he retired 10 years ago after that last album,” 50 wrote moment ago, before adding a cheeky, “Peace my n***, lol.”
50 Cent lives for the opportunity to drag Diddy on social media, a rivalry that had gone on for too long especially with their vodka brands competing. In February, he accused Diddy of being the mind behind rapper Tupac Shakur’s death, but the Bad Boy Records boss always ignored him.
