2016 Budget to be Passed Tomorrow (Details)
A Federal House of Representatives member, Abdulmumin Jibrin, who represents Kiru/Bebeji Federal constituency of Kano State, has stated that the 2016 budget is ready and will be passed on Wednesday.
Abdulmumin Jibrin, who serves as the Chairman House Committee on Finance, in a series of tweets, noted that the 2016 budget has been the most difficult bill that he has ever dealt with.
He described the allegations that the 2016 budget was padded as untrue while also noting that the budget had given the National Assembly a tough time.
We are close to delivering #Budget2016. I can confirm you the 2016 Appropriation Bill is ready. It will be laid tomorrow and passed Wedneday
