Ycee lands major deal with Sony Music

YCEE BAGS FIRST ENDORSEMENT DEALAdemilade Alejo a.k.a Ycee has joined the prestigious league of  acts who has inked  deals with major record labels as the Tinny Entertainment act has signed an exclusive deal with Sony Music joining the likes of Davido and Wizkid who have international recording contracts.

Sony Music Entertainment announced the exclusive deal with Ycee of Tinny Entertainment, today in South Africa.

General Manager, Sony Music West Africa Michael Ugwu stated, “I’m extremely proud to welcome Tinny Entertainment and the amazing talent that is Ycee to the Sony Music Entertainment West Africa family. I’ve watched this team grow over the past few years and I am amazed at how they have navigated the industry to reach this stage. Ycee is the future of Hip Hop in Africa and will be front and centre of SME West Africa’s strategy as we take Africa to the World.”

Arokodare ‘Tinny’ Timilehin,CEO Tinny Entertainment also stated his excitement for the future of both Ycee and Tinny Entertainment, noting, “This is a stamp of approval on all the hardwork we have put in through the years and an indication of even greater things to come”.

On Instagram, Sony Music Africa welcomed the Omo Alhaji crooner and his management company to the Sony Family.

“Sony Music Entertainment Africa and Tinny Entertainment announce exclusive deal for YCEE cc @TinnyEntAfrica &@iam_ycee #welcometothefamily”, the group wrote.

 

The new deal will see the rapper’s first E.P,’ The First Wave’ released under the Sony umbrella, meanwwhile the rapper shared
