Women’s group protest Against Dino Melaye’s Attack on Remi Tinubu (PHOTOS)

Members of Women Concern Group are currently protesting against the widely reported verbal assault by Senator Dino Melaye on Senator Oluremi Tinubu, which happened last week according to a report by Punch.

Senator Dino Melaye was alleged to have thrown obscene words at Senator Remi Tinubu during a heated debate at an exclusive session within the Senate chambers; threatening to physically assault her and impregnate her in the process. You can read more here.

The Senator representing Kogi West has since debunked the news reports, without giving specific details as to what he actually said to the wife of APC national leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The protesters could be seen on the streets of Lagos, holding placards and banners with the words: “Say no to abuse, no to Dino Melaye.”
