The Winners at Screen Actors Guild Award 2017 #SAG2017

The 2017 edition of the Screen Actors Guild Awards took place in Los Angeles yesterday and it was a night of powerful speeches against Donald Trump, and deserving honours.

Most of the celebrities who stepped on the stage to accept the awards slammed Donald Trump, especially following his recent controversial Executive Order banning citizens from certain Islamic nations from entering the United States. Though President Trump denies that the order was a Muslim ban, his fiery utterance on Twitter left many people believing he is targeting Muslims.

Hidden Figures – a NASA fact-based film about three black women, and Stranger Things emerged the big winners of the night. While stars like Denzel Washington and Viola Davis got the nods for their amazing performances in the Fences.
