Denrele Drags His Family on CNN African Voices
Cross dresser and controversial presenter Denrele has revealed his new feature on CNN African Voices where he talked about his personal style, his growth, and how difficult it was earlier in his career because his family felt he would amount to no good.

Denrele’s androgynous style caught attention over a decade ago and the star refuses to dim his shine. He has worn more dresses, shown off more hairstyles than most of his female colleagues have, and he has also gotten more hate than any Nigerian artiste, all because of his personal style.

Denrele was featured by top international media house CNN, and spilled his guts on popular 30-minute programme – African Voices.

“YES O! I’m live on CNN @cnn @cnnafrica like no other! Catch my captivating feature on #AfricanVoices where I put a full stop at the top spot!” the entertainer wrote on Instagram.

“My grandma would wake up in the morning and start crying and lamenting that her grandchild was running mad, and I might be admitted to a psychiatric hospital,” he told CNN, adding that his cousins felt no one would discover him.

“Now, the table is turned,” Denrele says. “Those people who had been dissing me are right now kissing my very cute little behind.”
