Watch Dangote brags his Lekki Refinery is 8 Times the Size of Victoria Island

Alhaji Aliko Dangote has said his refinery which is under construction in Lagos is 8 times bigger than the whole of Lagos’ Victoria Island.

Dangote bragged during a visit to the refinery by Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun,Femi Otedola among other visitors.

“You wont appreciate the size of the place, maybe because you have not gone round, some of you,” Dangote said.

“But this place is actually eight time Victoria Island, that is to give you the concept. The entire Victory Island, you get eight times of it here, so that is how big it is.”

The refinery is expected to be the world’s largest greenfield refinery upon completion and projected to refine 600,000 barrel of oil per day.
