Jay Z has joined  in the fight with a brand new single titled Spiritual.

The track which was released on Tidal few minutes ago, Spiritual is about the struggles of the black man living in America.

Some might however argue that the song comes at a contrasting time when 11 police offices were gunned down with 4 pronounced dead during a Black Lives Matter protest in Dallas.

“Ya’ll can have that, I’m smack dab in the hurricane of emotions,” he raps. “Can’t even raise my little daughter, my little Carter / We call her Blue ’cause it’s sad that, how could I be a dad that I never had that / Shattered in a million pieces, where the glass at?”

He continues, “I am not poison, no I am not poison, just a boy from the hood that got my hands in the air in despair, don’t shoot / I just want to do good.”

The song was accompanied by a letter. “I made this song awhile ago, I never got to finish it,” said Hov. “Punch (TDE) told me I should drop it when Mike Brown died, sadly I told him, ‘this issue will always be relevant.’ I’m hurt that I knew his death wouldn’t be the last.”

He added, “I’m saddened and disappointed in THIS America – we should be further along. WE ARE NOT.”
