Saraki Lands bail, Case Adjourned to October

Justice Danladi Umar, has adjourned the trial of Senator Bukola Saraki, the Senate President of Nigeria at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

The trial Judge Justice Umar who has vast experience in working with the government, having worked with Federal Civil Service as Senior Legal Officer Federal Ministry of Justice, Assistant Legal Adviser in some ministries including the Federal Capital Territory and Culture and Tourism respectively and also Chief Magistrate in Bauchi State adjourned the trial to October 21-23.

The tribunal also granted Saraki bail on self recognition.

During the sitting, Saraki, pleaded not guilty to all the 13 count charges filed against him.
