Road To The #NorthoriousPodcast (EP. 1): Naira Marley The Scapegoat For Cybercrime & International Record Deals

On the first episode of the Northorious Podcast, Ruffee, Razaq, Nuelnonny, and their guest, JennieDan discuss Naira Marley’s stance on cybercrime and his fate with the EFCC.

They also share their thoughts on international deals with a focus on Tiwa Savage’s new deal with Universal Music Group (UMG), and a short analysis of Boogey and PayBac’s collaborative album titled “Alternate Ending”.

The podcast was recorded on Sunday and a lot has changed with regards to Naira Marley and Zlatan’s case with the EFCC. As at the time of this recording, the anti-graft agency hadn’t released Zlatan and others.

Following the turn of events, the EFCC has preferred 11 charges bordering on fraud against the embattled musician, Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, for alleged credit card fraud.

Other issues discussed are – The Police raid on nightclubs in Abuja and a general background of the idea the birthed the podcast.
