Plateau LP Leadership Crisis ends with Margif as leader of the Party in the State

The Labour Party in Plateau State have resolved its Leadership crisis in the State and pledged to work in unity for the success of the Party in the state.

National Chairman of the Party Julius Abure who disclosed this is Jos, the Plateau capital after a reconciliation meeting with all aggrieved Members of the Party.

Abure, who was represented by the North Central Coordinator, Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) Joseph Ndiram said the Party has resolved to work together in unity while letting go of all issues before and after the 2023 Election in the State.

Also Speaking to Journalists shortly after the meeting, the Labour Party Chairman in Plateau State Grace Zamfara disclosed that the resolution has ended the series of court cases involving Ambassador Yohana Margif and Dr Dakum, in the Plateau State.

“This sitting is to resolve the lingering crisis in the Labour Party in the plateau state, we have the forgotten native of the Labour Party from the North Central Zone attending this sitting which we have resolved the party leadership differences, and we are now United as one, no faction, no court case anymore”

“We are praying to God to give us Victory at the Presidential Tribunal to reclaim our stolen Mandate”

The meeting which had in attendance critical stakeholders of the party, former aspirants and labor Party supporter across the 17 Council areas of the state also affirmed Chief Ambassador Yohana Margif as the leader of the party in the State

Margif who was One of the strong contenders for the Governorship Candidate for the Party in Plateau State during the 2023 Election who had taken the party to Court says the interest of the party is key to him and had since forgotten any issue that happened and call for unity amongst supporters of the party in the state
