Plateau 2023: Mammoth Crowd receive Dr Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe at the APC party Secretariat as he officially declare his bid for Governorship

Kalwa House, location of the new All Progressive Congress (APC) Secretariat was today 28th of April, 2022 thrown agog by the massive turn out of people who came to show there solidarity and support for the #GenerationNext movement, Captained by an amiable and astute personally Dr Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe who is aspiring for the number one sit on the Plateau.

He was received at the party office by party EXCO’s, stakeholders as well as stalwarts who where physically present during his official declaration of interest.

The occasion which was anchored by the State APC publicity Secretariat in person of Hon Sylvanus Nanlong started with a word of prayer by our Christian brother and was followed by proper introductions.

Dr Nentawe Yilwatda vying for the number one sit on the Plateau is a seasoned Academician, accomplished farmer, Tech Expert and a respected family man per excellence.

He was accompanied by his lovely and beautiful wife Dr. Mrs. Martina Nentawe Yilwatda, his campaign team and other party faithfuls.

When giving the opportunity to interface, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda expressed his desire to solve the ranging problems of Plateau State if elected into office, these problems he said he researched, and believe falls under (3)three major factors which are;
•SECURITY
•POVERTY and
•DISUNITY
He x-rayed them profusely, by gaving examples on how he intends to solve them if giving the opportunity to lead the State.

He further exclaimed that he is the preferred man for the job due to the following (4) advantages and edge he has over other contestants which are;
•EXPOSURE
•EXPERIENCE
•INTEGRITY and
•EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
He mentioned his few engagements both locally and internationally to include consultation for the World Bank, UNESCO, African Development Bank amongst others and locally, his last national assignment as INEC REC representing Benue, where he left a clean financial slate by involving extra Auditors before handing over office.

On separate remarks, the party Chairman Hon Rufus Bature who received the candidate with joy at the party Secretariat highlighted the Obstacles of political campaign to delegates who are meant to be delegating for people at the grassroot but end up choosing the best candidate in terms of money. He further said “within aspirants there are aspirants” describing the candidate as one of the best amongst those contesting.
He finally offered his blessings to the contestant and promised to create a level playing group for all those intending to contest for the same post under the APC.

Final prayers was said by one of our Muslim brothers, After which the aspirant had a swift interface with journalist where he further explained his campaign manifesto which fall under the acronym ACEES.

•E – Economic, Gender and Youth Empowerment
•E – Education
•S – Security.

The visit to the party office was concluded outside the office complex where he later addressed a gigantic crowd of supporters who could not gain entry into the Hall due to space.
He re-echoed the gospel of unity for Plateau State as he lamented his zeal to deliver a Secured, Peaceful, United and Prosperous Plateau.
