Ooni of Ife Weds in Benin Today (Photos)

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi will today wed his bride, Wuraola Otiti Zynab Obanor, an architect who is based in Dubai, UAE from Benin, Edo state.

The Ooni is said to have courting Wuraola for a while and marriage came into the picture because it is against the law for a king to be without a wife.

The traditional wedding is expected to kick off at noon at the Edo Hotel, Okada Drive, GRA Benin City while a thanksgiving ceremony of the union will hold tomorrow at the Royal Court of Ife, Aafin, Enuwa Square in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
