NPLF Signs Sponsorship Deal with UK’s iPro Sport
The Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) has yet again made a foray into the international sponsorship market with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the League Management Company (LMC) and United Kingdom’s leading global sports drink maker, iPro Sports International Limited (ISIL).
The new deal is coming in the wake of the LMC’s landmark partnership deal with the La Liga Company, organisers of the Spanish La Liga.
Isotonic fluids are known to have six to eight percent carbohydrates, including glucose, the human body’s preferred energy source for exercise, and are very popular in the English Premier League.
The MoU was executed in London on Wednesday, June 7, with the LMC represented by its Chairman, Shehu Dikko and iPro Sport represented by the Managing Director, Mr. Thomas Garrad, Vanguard reports.
The deal has been described as the biggest natural ingredients sports drink football sponsorship in the African continent and NPFL is the first league on the continent to be associated with iPro Sport all natural ingredients Sports drink.
The duration of the MOU is 5 years, subject to renewal by both parties.
