Nigerians Reacted to Fuel Subsidy Removal
Following the total subsidy removal from the pump price of petrol announced by the Federal Government and the subsequent hike in fuel price to N145 per litre; Nigerians have taken to social media to react.

The announcement was made by the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu and according to NNPC sources, the increment will allow marketers to bring in products to sell, subject to meeting in-built standard quality control.

The new development has caused an outrage on Twitter, with people condemning President Buhari and his administration and also calling for an organized protest. Many are already suggesting a repeat of the 2012 #OccupyNigeria demonstration.

Here are some reactions from Nigerians.

I live for good music & the intrigues Nigeria serves on a daily. At night, I serve on a team trying to build a Motor sports culture in Nigeria
