According to emerging reports, riot policemen and Soldiers have been placed on the red alert at the the Secretariat of the Nigeria Football Federation in Abuja since Friday, have continued to prevent people from gaining access to the complex.

DailyPost is reporting that the Glass House has remained sealed by security operatives who refused staff from getting into the complex except the Federal Road Safety Commission staff after they have been identified.

Sources say the soldiers and policemen were deployed to the Glass House by the Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Solomon Dalung.

The deployment of the security men to the Glass House followed a court order obtained on Thursday by the Proprietor of Giwa FC, Chris Giwa, who is laying claim to the presidency of the NFF.

Giwa on Sunday announced new members for the Board of the NFF, with a vow to resume at the Glass House on Monday.

The other faction, led by Amaju Pinnick, despite saying that no court order ousted it, has filed for a stay of execution of the court order.

Festus Keyamo in a statement for his client Amaju Pinnick said there was no such order removing his client from office and there also was no pronouncement on Giwa being the new president of the NFF.

The Amaju Pinnick led board is said to be eagerly awaiting the granting of the stay of execution of the now controversial court order, there were indications on Monday morning that the Giwa-led Board will likely meet in any of the major hotels in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
