New Balance – Jhene Aiko

With her recent divorce from Nigerian producer Dot da Genius, R&B songstress Jhene Aiko seems to be doing just fine, according to her latest song New Balance.

“You’re so new / You’re my salvage, you’re my balance,” she sings. “It hit me like a tidal wave / Knew that I was in love with you right away.”

Could these lyrics be about her new boo, Big Sean who she has been spending more than a little time with? Well, Sean Don did ask Jhené to drop the track after she posted the lyrics on Tumblr.

Then, when she did release it, she retweeted a fan who said the song was written for Big Sean. Plus, she added three hearts for good measure.

Jhené Aiko and Big Sean have been fielding romance rumors for awhile now in large part due to their steamy collaborative project TWENTY88.

Just last week, Aiko filed for divorce from Dot da Genius after 11 months of marriage.
