Naira Marley Granted Bail by Federal High CourtNigerian musician Afeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley has been granted bail by Federal High Court, Ikoyi after he was alleged to be an internet fraudster by the EFCC where he plead not guilty to charges against him.

At the conclusion of his plea, the singer’s bail hearing was scheduled for today, May 30, 2019 and the act was reprimanded in jail for 10 days. He arrived the court house sporting a dark Blue shirt and black jeans. His hearing held and the judge granted him bail on the condition of Two Million Naira bond and two sureties,one with a landed property and the other a civil servant.

Naira Marley was arraigned on 11-count charges, bordering on fraudulent activities and money laundering by the EFCC

The artiste who arrived to the Court house in a white Haice Bus had fans who trooped in their numbers to witness his verdict with fans “Marleans” hailing the act at the top of their voices.

“That you, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, aka Naira Marley, and Raze (still at large), on or about the 11th day of December 2018, within the jurisdiction of this honourable court, conspired amongst yourselves to use Access card 42658840359191132 issued to persons other than you in a bid to obtain gain and you thereby committed an offense contrary to Section 27(1)(b) of the Cyber Crimes (Prohibition, Prevention etc) Act 2015 and punishable under Section 33(2) of the Same Act.

“That you, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, aka Naira Marley, and Raze (still at large), on or about the 10th day of May 2019, within the jurisdiction of this honorable court, with intent to defraud possessed, counterfeit card 4921819410257431 issued to Timea Fedorne Tatar and you thereby committed an offense contrary to and punishable under Section 33(9) of Cyber Crimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc) Act 2015.”

In the early hours of today, Naira Marley released a new single titled ‘Why’ from prison. In the song, he hammered that he wants to have some fun today even if it costs him money while questioning a lot of matters, from relationship issues, to fraud, to yahoo yahoo and friendship.
