Meet Oba Ewuare ll N’Ogidigan, 39th Oba of BENIN

A new Oba of Benin Kingdom has emerged with the former Crown Prince continuing the chain of succession in the institution of the revered kingdom.

He is Oba Ewuare ll N’Ogidigan.

Vanguard, reports that the crown Prince Eheneden Erediauwa chose a name unique only to him and it will become what his children will answer.

The 39th Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare ll N’Ogidigan was born in 1953, he studied in Nigeria, before moving on to the United Kingdom to gain a B.A in Economics and Sociology from the University of Wales. The new Oba of Benin reportedly is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of International affairs.

He returned from the Palace of the Edingin N’Use where he chose his title, and was crowned at the Usama Palace.
