Meet the Foreign Coaches interested in the Super Eagles Job

Mark Wotte, a Dutch, who was once the first Performance Director of the Scottish Football Association is also interested in the Eagles job. Wotte had stints with the Royal Dutch Football Association, Feyenoord Rotterdam, Ismaily of Egypt and Al Ahli of Qatar among others.

Reports also say that former coaches Clemens Westerhof and Bonfrere Jo are also interested in a come back to the Super Eagles.

Clemens Westerhof is a 75 year old former Super Eagles Coach eho won the 1994 African Cup of Nations and also qualified Nigeria for the second round of the FIFA World Cup that year.

Westerhof began his career as an assistant coach with Feyenoord Rotterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie. He has also coached Vitesse Arnhem, the Zimbabwean national team, the Sporting Lions of Zimbabwe’s Premier League, and the Bush Bucks[1] and Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa’s Premier Soccer League.

Bonfrere Jo Dutch football coach and former midfielder, who spent his playing career with MVV Maastricht. In a long coaching career Bonfrére managed several teams in Africa and Asia. He guided Nigeria to their victory in the 1996 Olympic Games.
