Mayowa Ahmed dies after lingering battle with Cancer #RIPMayowa

In a saddening turn of events, reports have it that Mayowa Ahmed of the #Save Mayowa campaign is dead. Mayowa was suffering from Stage IV ovarian cancer.

A series of tweets by @asiwaju_foye who has been the family’s spokesperson confirmed her passing. Mayowa Ahmed died of complications from ovarian cancer.

Nolllywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu drew nationwide sympathy for the Nigerian woman, Ahmed Mayowa Shukurat, who was reportedly diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian cancer which brought about donations for Mayowa’s treatment abroad.
