Majority of Senators Rally Behind Saraki

Following the resumption of Senate from its 6 week long break, 84 Senators have passed a vote of confidence on Senate President, Bukola Saraki.

The vote of confidence was passed on Saraki, who is facing a 13-count charge of false assets declaration and corruption at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

Majority of Senators Rally Behind Saraki after Senator David Umaru from Niger State moved the motion to pass the vote of confidence and it was seconded by Senator Sani Ahmad Yerima.
