Lady Gaga throws Serious Shade at Madonna

Songstress Lady Gaga has refused to accept that she and Pop queen, Madonna share some similarities although both are both popular for their outrageous outfits and controversial lyrics.

In an interview on Beats 1 Radio, the host stated that he thinks Gaga and Madonna are alike in many ways than one especially with their background (both having overprotective fathers) and style of music. However, the singer was not having any of it as the 30 year old threw some serious shade at Madonna.

“Madonna and I are very different. Just saying. We’re very different. I wouldn’t make that comparison at all and I don’t mean to disrespect Madonna she’s a nice lady and she’s had a fantastic huge career, biggest pop star of all time. But I play a lot of instruments. I write all my own music. I spend hours and hours a day in the studio. I’m a producer. I’m a writer. What I do is different.”

Gaga did not just stop there as she added that unlike Madonna, she doesn’t just rehearse repeatedly to put on a show. “There is a spontaneity in my work. I allow myself to fail. I allow myself to break. I’m not afraid of my flaws. I just will not be compared to anyone anymore. I am who the f*ck I am and this is me. My life story is my life story just like yours.”

Gaga and Madonna have occasionally been pitted against each other and in 2011, Madonna accused Gaga of “blatantly ripping off” her song Express Yourself when she released Born This Way.
