Kelechi Nwakali Gets 5 Year Deal with Arsenal

Kelechi Nwakali, an instrumental player in Nigeria’s Under-17 world cup winning team has confirmed the signing of a five-year deal with Arsenal FC.

The deal for the talented 17-year-old is reported to be worth in the region of £3 million, after a fee was agreed with Diamond football academy in Nigeria.

Although the deal has been officially completed, the midfielder to watch out for will officially join the Gunners in the summer when he turns 18.

Nwakali was the player of the tournament as Nigeria won the Under-17 World Cup in Chile last year.

He was a highly sought after player as clubs like Manchester City and Bayern Munich vied for his signature.

However, the player who is coincidentally an ardent fan of the English Premier League club, chose to work with Arsene Wenger.
