Karolina Pliskova moves into French Open third round

World number two Karolina Pliskova moved into French open third round with a win over Kristina Kucova.

The Czech beat the world number 203 6-2 6-2 in 56 minutes.

Pliskova hit 25 winners and six aces as she maintained a good clay-court form that saw her win the Italian Open in the run-up to Roland Garros.

Earlier, Sloane Stephens and Garbine Muguruza both progressed to the third round with straight-set wins.
