K. Michelle says Idris Elba is a Heartbreaker,makes big announcement
Love & Hip Hop star K. Michelle made a big announcement: that she is starting a new phase with a medical doctor, her ‘perfect man’, and they are ready to start a family.
And that’s not all. Prior to that announcement, Michelle, who had previously dated actor Idris Elba, put up his photo in the backdrop as she talked about how she dated bad boys and also having her heart broken.
The bootylicious singer called off her relationship with Elba in 2014 after 8 months of dating, and in her chat with Wendy Williams later that year, she said she let him go so that he would have time for his baby mama. Here’s what she said, as reported by Essence:
“I met him at the Soul Train Awards and we just clicked. There was a situation. He has a child and I’m not going to get in the way of that. Y’all not gonna call me the home wrecker, call me any of that. Me, I desire a lot of attention and time and when there’s a newborn, you have to give your time and attention to [them]. When I met him, I did find out that he had a woman. But I did not know they still had that situation. So I kind of looked up and saw that I was the side chick.”
However, the singer still held on to a lot of bitterness after that, as she revealed that most of the songs on her album Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart is about her relationship with Elba. In June of 2015, she wrote him a stinker email, saying, “I don’t want to destroy you or the penis that was inside of me.”
Now, Michelle is happily moving on to a ‘perfect man’, and sadly, rumour swirling around is that this new man, this doctor, is already engaged to another woman, BET reports.
