Jhene Aiko’s Husband Speaks up following Abuse Claims
Nigerian Producer Dot Da Genius, (real name Oladipo Omishore) and the estranged husband to singer Jhene Aiko is finally speaking up on the abuse allegations levelled against him by the singer.
“I believe the truth must be heard” he wrote moments ago on in his Instagram. “I have never been violent or abusive to any woman in my life…soon enough the entire truth shall come to light.” he added.
After news of Jhene Aiko and Dot Da Genius’ divorce surfaced online days ago, fans and Nigerians mercilessly dragged Aiko on Twitter and accused her of cheating on her husband with rapper, Big Sean. Jhene, who hardly talks about her private life, was then forced to lay it on the line about her marriage.
In a series of responses to fans, the singer stated that she was ‘glad to be free from all the drugs, depression and confrontation’, hinting that her relationship with Dot had been abusive.
Jhene Aiko cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the divorce from her husband of only 11 months and also denied him spousal support.
