The J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar album has been rumoured for years now and it seems we might finally be getting something. The mixtape titled Reminiscing from the two 2015 Cash Kings even though a lot of people have said this is the figment of the internet seems to be really the real deal now. Maybe the opinion comes cos it just happens to come out on the heels of Drake and Future? Anyway, most people that are not fanatically tied to the concept don’t think this is real, as official as it appears to be. Hell, we hope it is real!

Drake and Future’s What A Time To Be A Alive being on the path to sell half a million records this week, looks like all it did was re-ignite the unsatiated hunger for the J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar’s long anticipated joint album.
Now the thirst is nearing desert levels with the release of the album’s alleged artwork and alleged title, Reminiscing.

j. Cole and Kendrick Lamar has continuously teased fans they were going to drop an album for years, starting back in 2011 and then 2012, when pictures of the two working in the studio found their way online. Back then, Kendrick said the album was going to be a surprise album, before that was even a thing. “We gon drop that out the sky,” he told the LA Leakers in 2012. “I ain’t gonna give no dates, no nothing. I’m just gonna let it fall.”

In 2013, Jermaine told MTV the joint project was on its way and that they had already recorded “too many songs” and had “sh*t holding in the stash.”
